BEAUTY | What's In My Travel Make Up Bag?

While I know most people are done their summer holidays, I've yet to go on mine. I hope you'll forgive the next couple of posts, they are holiday themed. It's been torture seeing everyone's holiday snaps splashed across social media, but now, I get to have my revenge! Today's post delves into my holiday beauty essentials! This makeup bag is from Primark, by the way, I think it was around the €4 mark.

FACE
I tend to stay away from foundation when on holiday. Warm weather and full coverage are not a match made in heaven! This La Roche-Posay HYDREANE BB Creme in Medium is a perfect alternative to foundation! It's lightweight, moisturizing, and has SPF 20 in it. I like to use the Thermal Spring Water to cool down my skin, and it also works as a setting spray. The Physiological Micellar Soloution is amazing for removing any and all makeup I got all these travel-sized products in a set from a local pharmacy, there perfect to just pop in your bag!

EYES
While I forgo foundation, I'm not opposed to a little eye makeup when I'm away! The Urban Decay Primer Potion in Eden is a must for me. It makes sure all your hard work stays in place no matter what! Shadow-wise, I never leave home with out my Naked 2 palette. I'm obsessed with it! I also love the Maybelline Color Tattoos, they work as a shadow base, or a wash of colour all over the lid. My favourites are the shades On & On Bronze and Pink Gold. For mascara, you can't go wrong with this combo - Maybelline Great Lash in Very Black and Benefit's They're Real! I love the Rimmel London ScandalEyes Waterproof Kohl Eyeliner in Nude for brightening your eyes up, and this 17 Brown Eyeliner to define the upper lash line! Can't forget about brows - as always I have my trusty Sleek Brow Kit in Dark.

LIPS
A lot of these products were featured in my Top 5 Summer Lips, so I'll just run through those quickly! I've got MAC's Candy Yum Yum, Rimmel London Apocalips in Apocaliptic, Sleek's True Lip Colour in Coral Reef, Catrice's Ultimate Shine Lipstick in Oh Juicy!, MAC's Flat Out Fabulous and Barry M Lip Paint in 158. I also have two lip balms, can't get those babies burnt, I like Maybelline's Baby Lips in Quenched and my Carmex Lip Balm!

TOOLS
When don't have foundation to worry about, you don't need much in the way of tools! I take my Boots Eyelash Curler, Elf Flat Eyeshadow Brush, Elf Fluffy Eyeshadow Brush, Naked 2 Double-ended Shadow Brush, 17 Flat Shader Brush, Up & Up (Target brand) Smudge Brush, and this random Brow/Lash Comb, and I am good to go!

What are your travelling makeup essentials?!

Until next time,
